ClubGG Bad Beat Jackpot: Rules and Settings

The platform publishes common eligibility conditions; the losing-hand trigger and blind-level distribution require the current Club or Union setting.

The short answer

A Bad Beat Jackpot is an in-app feature for an eligible hand that loses at showdown, not a reward for any strong losing hand. ClubGG's feature help sets baseline conditions and describes administrator-adjustable triggers. A reader needs both: the published platform rules and the current setting for the named Club or Union.

Do not copy a trigger from another game, blind level or Union. This page deliberately publishes no current pool figure or predicted share.

Conditions in the published feature help

All applicable conditions must be satisfied; one impressive hand is not enough. The official help describes the following checks for an eligible game.

On a narrow screen, swipe within the table. With a keyboard, focus the table area and use the left and right arrow keys.

Platform-level conditions paraphrased from ClubGG Help, checked 26 September 2026
ConditionPublished ruleWhy it matters
ShowdownThe losing hand must reach showdown.A strong hand folded before showdown does not trigger the feature.
Pot sizeThe pot must reach at least 10 big blinds.A qualifying hand in a smaller pot does not meet this platform condition.
Players dealtFour players must be dealt in before the flop.Count players dealt, not just those remaining at the end.
Hole cardsBoth winner and loser must use both hole cards in their best five-card hands, including the two-hole-card rule described for PLO and PLO5.A board-driven result may fail this jackpot condition even when the poker hand itself is valid.
Four of a kindA qualifying four of a kind must be made with a pocket pair.Quads formed without the required pocket pair do not satisfy this special condition.
Multiple runsWhen a hand is run multiple times, only the first run counts for the jackpot.Do not evaluate a later board as if it were the qualifying run.

The official help also explains the treatment of players who folded, sat out, left or disconnected, and a special case with more than three qualifying hands. Those details need the actual hand history and current rules; this table is not a claim that a named hand qualified.

Which settings can vary by Club or Union?

ClubGG describes adjustable weakest-qualifying-hand triggers for NLH, PLO, PLO5 and Short Deck. A listed trigger is a floor for that particular setting, not the only possible qualifying hand. Its help also describes six fixed distribution structures with blind-level assignments. The public article does not publish one universal percentage split.

When a Club joins a Union, the published feature help says the Club jackpot ceases and a Union jackpot replaces it. A current Union setting still needs to be checked. A Union trigger table is not proof that every member Club currently runs each listed game.

How to read a pool or share claim

ClubGG says the fund is built from portions of eligible pots, those contributions are not raked, and they are distributed through the feature. It also says players in an eligible game cannot opt out of contributing. These are published mechanics, not a current pool balance or a promise that a particular hand qualifies.

The in-app figure and unit can change with play and administration. If someone cites a pool, ask for the named Club or Union, game, blind level, unit, source screen and time. Do not turn a play-chip figure into a currency value.

Check a specific claim in the right order

  1. Identify the pool. Is it a standalone Club jackpot or the Union jackpot that replaced it?
  2. Identify the table. Record the exact game format and blind level; a trigger may differ across them.
  3. Read the current in-app setting. Capture the losing-hand floor and relevant distribution structure with its date, without exposing another player's private data.
  4. Check the hand against the platform rules. Showdown, pot, dealt-player count, hole-card construction and any special condition must all be evaluated.
  5. Ask the responsible party. A Club or Union administrator can address its configuration; ClubGG official support handles product or software questions. Neither a public article nor a screenshot guarantees an outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a hand eligible for a ClubGG Bad Beat Jackpot?

ClubGG's help requires a showdown, a pot of at least 10 big blinds, four players dealt in before the flop, and both winner and loser using both hole cards in their best five-card hand. Other published conditions include a pocket pair for a qualifying four of a kind. The configured trigger for the named game and blind level must also be met.

Is the same losing hand enough in every Club?

No universal losing-hand floor should be assumed. ClubGG describes configurable triggers for NLH, PLO, PLO5 and Short Deck. The screen's listed combination is the weakest that qualifies in that configuration; check the current named Club or Union and blind-level setting.

Do players who folded or sat out receive a share?

The published help says players who were sitting out or folded before the jackpot hand was won do not receive a share. It separately says a qualifying player can still receive a reward after leaving or disconnecting. The exact distribution must be checked in the current in-app rules.

Does a Club keep its own jackpot after joining a Union?

ClubGG's help says a Club jackpot ceases after the Club joins a Union and is replaced by the Union jackpot. Verify the current Union configuration and eligible formats rather than copying an old Club-specific trigger or pool figure.

Does a displayed jackpot figure guarantee a particular result?

No. A displayed pool can change, a hand must satisfy all applicable conditions, and the published help does not provide a universal fixed share for every situation. A dated public screenshot is not a live rule or a monetary valuation.

Sources and review limits

Official public sources checked 26 September 2026. The feature help supplies the platform conditions, Union replacement and administrator settings; the current in-app screen, not this page, is the source for a specific trigger or pool.

We did not inspect a live table or pool, evaluate a real hand history, verify a named Club's configuration, or receive a platform decision. Older first-party or third-party trigger snapshots elsewhere on this site retain their original dates and are not refreshed by this guide.
